This BBC News report is about a trial of Emotional Freedom Technique, also known as Tapping to help patients deal with their problems.
Professor Tony Stewart is a specialist in public health and in this study that took place in Sandwell he found that all but one of 36 patients got better. He found that it worked across a range of issues. Mark WIlletts a classical guitarist saw tremendous benefits from it. It helped him with anxiety and depression.
As a Clinical Hypnotherapist I use EFT as part of my holistic approach to help people make changes that they really want in their lives.
It’s interesting to see that the reported even explained that to him it felt like hypnosis.
