EFT Tapping to reverse stress naturally – Dr. Kim D’Eramo


Hi, it’s Dr. Kim from the American Institute of Mind-Body Medicine, and I had someone today ask me to create an EFT sequence. What do I tap on? If we do EFT, we’re giving new information to the brain. What do I tap on when I’m resisting everything that’s coming in my mind? I’m fighting my body. I’ve talked about this a lot, that fighting disease, fighting our body, fighting the fat, it brings up all of the inflammation that makes us sick, impairs our digestion, makes us sluggish and fatigued. It causes adrenal fatigue, thyroid disease, autoimmune disease, chronic pain. How do I reverse that if I don’t like the way I feel?

One of the things that happens with this work is we open to the body and everything comes up. Anger, resentment, discomfort, just contraction because we become aware of those energies, so this is an EFT sequence to help you move through those energies, stop resisting your body and fluidly allow that energy to release. In EFT, we just start on the karate chop point, and we’ll do the setup phrase three times even though I don’t like how I feel, and you repeat after me. I choose to love and accept myself fully. Good. Now we’ll do it two more times. Even though I don’t want to feel this way, I choose to love and accept myself fully. Even though I don’t like how I feel, I choose to embrace myself fully now. Good.

Just the inner eye. I don’t want to feel this way. Outer eye. I don’t like the way I feel in my body. Under the eye. I totally reject this. Under the nose. I’m rejecting myself. Good. On the chin. I shouldn’t have to feel this way. Just breathing through. This is what’s going on in your system. Right underneath the collarbone. I reject this energy that’s coming up. Breathing fully. Then right underneath the arm. All of what’s coming up in my body that I shouldn’t have to feel. Top of the head. This doesn’t feel good. We’ll do one more round. I’m rejecting myself. Outer eye. I want to feel good. Under the eye. What would it take for me to release this resistance?

Under the nose. Just embrace fully how I feel. On the chin. Even though I don’t want to feel this way. Under the collarbone. Even though I don’t understand what’s going on. Under the arm. Allowing my body’s process. On top of the head. My body’s wisdom to run this show. Take a big deep breath and powerful breath out. Nice. Now see how you feel. Is there a little less resistance to whatever muck you’re moving through today. It will move. It will move smoothly, and this is a great way to assist you in allowing whatever is happening to happen. Your body knows how to release it. It has it’s natural processes of healing, so you can trust that, support it, and witness what happens.
