This is a fundraiser video to help raise $150,000 to Empower the Philippines by releasing the traumas of over 10,000 children and building 200 sustainable buildings including schools.
On November 8th, Typhoon Haiyan made landfall in the Philippines. The Philippine news soon reported that super typhoon Yolanda was responsible for an estimated 10 000 deaths. When the 15 foot (5M) storm surge came, there was no place for the people to go. They were trapped. Many got stuck in their houses where they drowned. Months later, how many people died in the Philippines typhoon is unsure. But the death toll in the Philippines is estimated over 7000.
After the Philippines typhoon, those who survived struggled for days without food, shelter or clean drinking water. By the roadside, scores of corpses were piled high. The stench of rotting flesh filled the air.
Tacloban went through the most severe trauma of all the islands. The trauma these people experienced is unfathomable. Our initial focus to bring emotional release and empowerment will begin here.
Emotional relief (in the form of EFT: Emotional Freedom Techniques or “tapping” – visit our site for more info on this scientifically proven to work technique to rapidly release negative emotions and overcome trauma) is just part of the empowerment.
When visiting the islands, I saw many living in makeshift tents. The islanders lost their houses, and schools. With their schools detroyed and without houses, there was no place to stay safe from the threat of another storm.
Since both the Volunteer teams “Yong Pioneer Disaster Response Team” and “Volunteer in Cebu” were already involved in rebuilding schools, and had plans to build sustainable houses, if they could get further funding, it was obvious we needed all to join forces to offer a more complete program for their empowerment.
We need $150 000 or more to heal & empower the Philippines. With this money we will:
1 Provide Emotional Empowerment
– Release 10,000 traumas
– Train 100 Filipino psychologists in EFT
2 Provide Safety Empowerment
– Build 200 sustainable houses
– Build 5 storm-proof classrooms
The more money you donate to the Philippines relief efforts, the more help we can offer.
